Monumental shift: Power conferences, not NCAA, to control policing athlete compensation


A committee of power conference administrators took steps this week toward the creation of an entity that will govern evolving professionalized aspects of college sports. During a two-day summit, a "transition team," inched closer to establishing a structure to manage, and enforce the settlement-related athlete compensation system for all of NCAA Division I. (Yahoo!
