Hampton Roberts Breaks 54-Hole School Records, Leads UNC To 2nd-Place Finish At Amer Ari


Hampton Roberts set program records for fewest strokes and score to par in a 54-hole tournament, finished second in a playoff, and led the UNC men's golf team to a runner-up finish Saturday in the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawai'i. Roberts shot 67-61-67 for a 21-under-par 195. He broke the previous UNC record of 197 for fewest strokes in a tournament. (GoHeels.com)
