, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound first baseman and designated hitter who was expected to play for Division II Tampa as a graduate student this season, is instead set to join the Tennessee Volunteers and will almost certainly contend for a starting role, pending the approval of a waiver for immediate eligibility which he’s expected to receive.
