Ven-Allen Lubin delivered 17 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, as the North Carolina Tar Heels clawed past Pittsburgh 67-66 to grab a much-needed victory. And Lubin's strong start — he supplied nine of UNC's first 12 points out of the gate — followed a certain blueprint that coach Hubert Davis and Co. hoped to craft to their advantage.
