Ian Rapoport mentioned the ‘mythical reputation’ Drake Maye earned entering the 2024 NFL Draft last year around this time, further explaining that "Drake Maye in the NFL has a bit of a mythical reputation. He was the guy everybody wanted. Everyone tried to trade up for him. I thought and was being told that the Patriots were considering trade options." (Athlon Sports)
