Lucas: Traveling With The Tar Heels

Since the days of Dean Smith, traveling with Carolina Basketball has meant traveling in style. There are quality hotels and steakhouses on the road. But the details of a road trip are complicated, as shown by a recent glimpse inside the Tar Heels' journey to Reno for a Dec. 31 date with Nevada. For this trip, a longer journey, the Tar Heels are using an Airbus A319. That creates more room to spread out. Seniors and upperclassmen inhabit the first few rows, most of which are first-class seats. (Tar Heel Blue)
