Lucas: Traveling With The Tar Heels


Since the days of , traveling with Carolina Basketball has meant traveling in style. There are quality hotels and steakhouses on the road. But the details of a road trip are complicated, as shown by a recent glimpse inside the Tar Heels' journey to Reno for a Dec. 31 date with Nevada. For this trip, a longer journey, the Tar Heels are using an Airbus A319. That creates more room to spread out. Seniors and upperclassmen inhabit the first few rows, most of which are first-class seats. (Tar Heel Blue)
