Five months after Hurricane Helene's devastating impact on much of western North Carolina, the recovery continues. That area is home for former North Carolina basketball coach . The Hall of Famer partnered with Verizon to provide $10 million in debt relief for 6,500 storm-impacted individuals, personally calling some of those individuals. (Inside Carolina)
