Johnnie Farms says ‘no’ to Spurrier, ‘yes’ to Central Florida, ‘maybe’ to Auburn
Posted Jan 15, 2009
Perry offensive lineman Johnnie Farms, who had an infamous encounter with Steve Spurrier earlier this year, appears to be shopping around again. The 6-2, 295-pound Farms is committed to North Carolina, but said he got permission from the Tar Heels to visit Central Florida this weekend. “Why not? It’s a great campus and [the coaches] wanted me to come down,” Farms said. Credit Farms for keeping people guessing.
