UNC Basketball’s NET ranking improves, but wins over Miami, VT crucial to NCAA resume


North Carolina’s NCAA tournament chances, which were remote two weeks ago, continue to improve after Monday’s 96-85 Quad-2 victory at Florida State for the Tar Heels’ fourth straight victory. UNC (18-11, 11-6 ACC standings) moved up one spot in the NET rankings to 44th ahead of Saturday’s Quad-4 game against Miami (6-21, 2-14; 218th in the NET). (Tar Heel Tribune)
