Heels missing bench support
Posted Jan 17, 2009
After facing the Hurricanes tonight, the Tar Heels will play Clemson -- which has never won in Chapel Hill -- on Wednesday. And it will be key to see if North Carolina can find some more production off its bench. For all the talk of being deep, UNC's reserves have struggled to score; against Virginia on Thursday, they contributed six points -- all from freshman Ed Davis. No one has proven they can light a spark, like Danny Green, now a starter, did last season.
