With the Hurricanes hanging around to a degree, Wayne Ellington went off, dropping eight consecutive baskets (seven of which were three pointers) in a show that ended up as a 23 point -- all in the second half, mind you -- effort. Tyler Hansbrough, in a very underreported story, was fairly ineffective (he's still Jay Bilas' POY, though!). Yes, he scored 24 points, but he only managed seven boards and still shot under 50 percent
