NCAA Selection Committee chair Bubba Cunningham on measures taken to avoid UNC bias


"When we got to those last three or four teams, frequently Carolina was in the discussion," UNC Athletics Director Bubba Cunningham said. "As soon as we were part of the discussion, I left the room." Those conversations led to UNC as the last team in the field, with the committee admitting a late AAC upset would have knocked them off the bubble. (On3.com)
