Ethan Strand Named Indoor Track National Athlete Of The Year

North Carolina senior Ethan Strand was named the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track & Field National Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday. Strand is the first Tar Heel to win the national award for track and field. Shalane Flanagan won the award for cross country in 2002 and 2003.
