UNC Baseball wins 14-inning classic against Duke with impressive relief pitching

Fourteen innings were more than enough for Alex Madera. He drove the 466th pitch up the middle, and the ball took a bounce off of the glove of the Duke second baseman. The error scored Tyson Bass from second base to give No. 19 UNC a marathon 8-7 victory at Boshamer Stadium on Saturday (Highlights) to take two of three from the Blue Devils.
