UNC Baseball wins 14-inning classic against Duke with impressive relief pitching
Posted Apr 5, 2025
Fourteen innings were more than enough for Alex Madera. He drove the 466th pitch up the middle, and the ball took a bounce off of the glove of the Duke second baseman. The error scored Tyson Bass from second base to give No. 19 UNC a marathon 8-7 victory at Boshamer Stadium on Saturday (Highlights) to take two of three from the Blue Devils.
