North Carolina probably understood Jarin Stevenson was thinking about getting into the portal. His mom went to UNC and played basketball under Sylvia Hatchell. He lives in Chapel Hill and played with Drake Powell at Northwood before going over to Seaforth. It's somebody they're really familiar with. There doesn't have to be much of a vetting process.
