A major contributor to North Carolina's defensive unit is set to depart. UNC is losing its top sack producer from last season, with defensive end Beau Atkinson planning to enter the transfer portal, multiple sources confirmed on Tuesday. The portal officially opens up on Wednesday. The 6-foot-6, 265-pound redshirt junior spent three seasons with the Tar Heels. (Inside Carolina)
