Freshman Chris Xu won the clinching match as No. 9 seed UNC topped No. 15 seed Boston College, 4-0, in the first round of the 2025 ACC Men's Tennis Championship on Wednesday at the Cary Tennis Park. The Tar Heels improved to 13-10, snapped a 4-match losing streak and advanced to Thursday's second round against No. 8 seed Clemson.
