Clemson basketball lands UAB transfer guard Efrem "Butta" Johnson


Clemson basketball added its fourth transfer portal player in 2025 with the commitment of UAB guard Efrem "Butta" Johnson on Sunday, April 13. Johnson averaged 8.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assist in 37 games and 21 starts as a junior with UAB. The 6-foot-4 guard is a career 34.4% 3-point shooter and shot 32% from 3 last season.
