Tar Heel Freshman Drake Powell Declares For NBA Draft

UNC freshman wing Drake Powell announced Wednesday that he is declaring for the NBA Draft. According to a source, Powell is maintaining his college eligibility, leaving the option open to return to Carolina. Since the season ended, Powell has been taking part in workouts, and ESPN's latest mock draft slots Powell as the first pick of the second round. (Inside Carolina)
