No. 1 North Carolina women's lacrosse used its stifling defense and a clinical attack to roll past Virginia Tech, 19-9, in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday (Highlights). Ashley Humphrey led the way with four goals and four assists, while the defense held the Hokies to just three first-half goals before cruising to victory in the second.
