Bryn Renner Gives Up Basketball to Focus on Football, Shoulder Rehab
Posted Jan 23, 2009
UNC football commit Bryn Renner (****/QB/Springfield, VA) has decided to forego his senior season of basketball in order to focus on rehabilitating a football-related shoulder injury. Apparently, Renner was an outstanding basketball player in his own right, averaging 28 points per game last season for West Springfield. There was no mention of the severity of the injury or how it may impact his football future.
