I don't think Drake Powell's declaration for the NBA Draft should have surprised anyone. When you have that kind of athletic profile, the NBA will look at you hard. If he's going to be a 3-and-D wing, which is all the rage in the NBA, can he defend at a high level and can he make threes when he's wide open? He answered those questions pretty emphatically.
