Gamecocks Meet with Sam Montgomery

South Carolina recruiter Brad Lawing visited Wednesday with Greenwood DE Sam Montgomery (6-5 240). "He got an update on my transcript and they are looking great," Montgomery said. "We just sat down and talked a little. It was just a brief catching up on things. We talked for about 30-35 minutes." Montgomery was visited this week by assistants from Clemson and LSU and Oregon head coach Mike Bellotti. Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez will be in on Thursday. (The State)
