Former Tar Heel Quarterback Sam Howell traded to the Minnesota Vikings

On the final day of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings agreed to a trade that brings former North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell to Minnesota. Entering his fourth season in the NFL, Howell is set to compete for his third team. Howell saw limited action in his lone season with Seattle, appearing in two games. He completed five of 14 passes.
