Clemson forward Ian Schieffelin takes Dabo Swinney offer to join Tigers' football team


For months, Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney had joked with Ian Schieffelin that the 6-foot-8 forward for the Tigers' basketball team would make an excellent tight end, but Schieffelin assumed it was all in fun. Two weeks ago, however, he got a call from Swinney with a serious offer: spend six months with the football team and see what happens. (ESPN.com)
