UNC, NC State not guaranteed to play twice each season with new ACC men's basketball schedule

The North Carolina Tar Heels and NC State Wolfpack, conference rivals for more than 100 years, won’t be guaranteed to meet twice each season in men’s basketball when the ACC reverts to an 18-game conference schedule in 2025-26. The 18-team league is making the move to enhance its chances at getting more teams in the NCAA Tournament.
