David Ford Shoots 69 In Final Round, UNC 6th In Urbana Regional


The UNC men's golf team shot 1 under par in the final round Wednesday and finished sixth in the NCAA Urbana Men's Golf Regional in Urbana, Ill. The Tar Heels did not advance to next week's NCAA Championship. David Ford, the No. 1 player in the nation, led UNC with a 2-under 69. Ford, competing in his final round as a Tar Heel, tied for 11th place. (GoHeels.com)
