UNC Pitcher Jake Knapp Remains in Total Control, Outduels Seminoles
Posted May 16, 2025
On a hot Tallahassee night Thursday, sweating through his Carolina blue jersey, Jake Knapp once again pitched a complete game: 115 pitches, 31 batters faced, zero walks, three runs, four hits with seven strikeouts and an 8-3 win for No. 4 UNC over No. 2 Florida State. The last time the Tar Heels played the Seminoles was in the College World Series.
