Jack Cobb was the 1926 National Player of the Year, three-time All-America in 1924, 1925, and 1926, three-time All-Southern Conference in 1924, 1925, and 1926, recipient of the Patterson Medal in 1927, in the Helms Foundation Hall of Fame, and has his Jersey retired by UNC.
