Sam Montgomery down to three?

According to Doug Segrest of AL.com, Sam Montgomery (****/DE/Greenwood, SC) appears to be in a tug-of-war recruting battle between North Carolina and South Carolina, with LSU running a close third. Montgomery is visiting LSU this weekend, the school where Scout.com recruiting analyst Andrew Bone believes he will eventually wind up. ESPN analyst Tom Luginbill, however, believes that Montgomery will sign with either North Carolina or his home-state school South Carolina. Recent unsubstantiated rumors have been circulating that Montgomery is already a silent commit to the Tar Heels.
