Ven-Allen Lubin transferring to N.C. State after saying he intended to return to UNC


After one season at North Carolina, former Tar Heel forward is transferring to N.C. State to join first-year Wolfpack coach Will Wade. It will be Lubin’s fourth school in four years after playing Notre Dame as a freshman, Vanderbilt as a sophomore, and UNC as a junior. Lubin initially said that he intended to return to Chapel Hill.
