Like so many of you, I grew up believing that life marches to the rhythm of Carolina Basketball. My first love? The 1977 Tar Heels. First date in college? James Worthy's Blue-White game. On the night my father died in 1997, we watched the Tar Heels win at Clemson because ... that's what we do. This synchronicity of culture and basketball is fading.
