College sports has undergone a seismic shift in recent years due to court losses that have changed the NCAA’s definition of amateurism. A federal judge in California gave final approval Friday to a $2.8 billion settlement in a class-action antitrust lawsuit that would usher in a new era of revenue sharing of millions of dollars between universities and athletes.
