UNC football players Christo Kelly and Jordan Shipp have yet to see transfer quarterback Gio Lopez deliver a pass in practice with the Tar Heels, but they have high marks among the early reviews. The offensive lineman Kelly praised Lopez as a fierce competitor on Tuesday, while Shipp, the receiver, said that he already has developed confidence in Lopez. (Inside Carolina)
