Quarterback Max Johnson is getting closer, Bill Belichick says

Max Johnson is getting closer to competition, but he isn’t there quite yet. UNC Football coach Bill Belichick said at his Tuesday press conference that Johnson is working his way back but isn’t quite ready to compete for the starting quarterback job. Johnson was lost for the season after suffering a broken leg during the Tar Heels’ season-opening win at Minnesota.
