Virginia Baseball Names Duke’s Chris Pollard As New Coach


A new era of Virginia baseball begins as the Cavaliers tabbed Duke coach Chris Pollard to become the school’s next head coach, UVA announced. Pollard inherits the program following 22 seasons under Brian O’Connor. Pollard just wrapped up hosting the Duke’s first ever Super Regional, falling short of a trip to the College World Series.
