Thad Dixon was one of three Washington defenders to join UNC's defense, led by their former defensive coordinator, Steve Belichick. Belichick spent the 2024 season with the Huskies after coaching under his father, Bill, in New England for 12 seasons. As defensive coordinator, Belichick improved Washington's total defense from 99th to 28th nationally. (Inside Carolina)
