UNC's Tommy Kitchell Named Southeast Region Men's Field Athlete Of The Year


Tommy Kitchell was named Southeast Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year on Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Kitchell is the second Tar Heel in as many seasons to earn a Southeast Region postseason award. Kitchell (20.74m) closed out his college career as the shot put silver medalist in the National Championships. (GoHeels.com)
