LSU wins 2025 College World Series, 8th national title


With a 5-3 win over Coastal Carolina Sunday afternoon, LSU swept the College World Series finals and secured the program’s eighth national championship and second in three seasons. Its eight national titles are second all-time, trailing only USC’s 12, which last won one in 1998, and are now two ahead of third-place University of Texas. (D1 Baseball)
