Brooklyn Nets Pick Carolina's Drake Powell in First Round of NBA Draft

Last summer, Drake Powell joined UNC out of nearby Northwood High School in Pittsboro as a coveted five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American, among his numerous collection of blue-chip recruiting accolades, which also included repeat first-team all-state honors. Now, a year later, he has become UNC's 55th first-round selection in NBA Draft history. (Inside Carolina)
