UNC Athletics has its best Directors’ Cup finish in 16 years


Led by national championships in women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse, North Carolina finished fourth in the 2024-25 Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, the Tar Heels’ best finish in 16 years. It was UNC’s sixth straight top-10 finish and ninth in the last 10 years. It’s the Tar Heels 26th top-10 finish. Only Stanford and Florida (31 each) have more. (Tar Heel Tribune)
