UNC was well represented in ESPN's nominees for the 2025 ESPYS on Thursday. Carolina's women's lacrosse team showed up in the "Best Team" category, while freshman Chloe Humphrey is one of four nominees for "Best breakthrough Athlete." Women's soccer standout Kate Faasse is one of four nominees for "Best Collegiate Athlete – Women's Sports."
