was back in the NCAA Tournament last spring, this time as assistant basketball coach of American University. That marked the sixth time Manuel has participated in the NCAA Tournament as a player or coach. Manuel’s first trip came as a junior for UNC in 2004. The next season, Manuel started on the Tar Heels’ 2005 NCAA championship team. (Palm Beach Post)
