Paul Barton Making Jump from Carolina Lacrosse to Football


spent four years at North Carolina as a defender for the men’s lacrosse team. This fall, he’s taking on an entirely new challenge — joining UNC football as a tight end for his final year of college eligibility. Barton learned that NCAA rules allow athletes with eligibility remaining to compete in a different sport at the same school as a graduate student. (Inside Carolina)
