Brooklyn Nets Announce Signing Of Drake Powell

The Brooklyn Nets have signed guard/forward Drake Powell, the 22nd pick in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft, to a multi-year contract. Powell (6'5, 200) spent one season at North Carolina, appearing in 40 games (27 starts). The 19-year-old earned UNC's Defensive Player of the Year award and helped lead the Tar Heels to the NCAA Tournament.
