Former UNC track star Ethan Strand wins in his professional race debut


Former UNC track and field star Ethan Strand made his professional debut on Saturday, competing in the International Mile race in the 2025 Prefontaine Classic. The result was about what anyone who’s followed Strand at UNC expected. Strand won the race with a time of 3:48.86. His time was a personal best for an outdoor mile. (Tar Heel Blog)
