The Chargers are entering training camp with a shift in their backfield as rookie Omarion Hampton steps into the lead running back role. With Najee Harris on the Non-Football Injury List with an eye injury suffered in a July 4 fireworks mishap, Hampton, the Chargers' 2025 first-round pick, is getting first-team reps and making a strong case as RB1.
