Gio Lopez Prepares to Quarterback UNC’s 'NFL-like Offense'

Looking back on the handful of days he spent on college football's free-agent market this spring, quarterback Gio Lopez smiled widely Thursday and said he didn't need a grand sales pitch from Bill Belichick during his transfer portal negotiations with UNC. "With his résumé, everything he's done, it speaks for itself," Lopez said at the ACC Kickoff event.
