Gio Lopez Prepares to Quarterback UNC’s 'NFL-like Offense'

Looking back on the handful of days he spent on college football's free-agent market this spring, quarterback Gio Lopez smiled widely Thursday and said he didn't need a grand sales pitch from Bill Belichick during his transfer portal negotiations with UNC. "With his résumé, everything he's done, it speaks for itself," Lopez said at the ACC Kickoff event. (Inside Carolina)
