Danny Green: Raleigh tough environment
Posted Jan 31, 2009
Growing up outside of New York City, UNC's Danny Green said he didn't know much about the Tar Heels' basketball rivalry with N.C. State. But all it took was one trip to the RBC Center, the Wolfpack's home floor, and a full dose of the vocal ring of N.C. State fans that surround the floor for the senior swingman to grasp the flavor of the matchup. "It's kind of crazy," Green said. "They have a lot of country guys over there. They can be pretty harsh."
