Johnnie Farms visiting Auburn
Posted Jan 31, 2009
UNC commit and 4-star offensive guard Johnnie Farms (Perry, GA) is visiting Auburn on this final weekend before national signing day.
According the Opelika Auburn News, Farms has shown "heavy interest in Auburn throughout the recruiting process." Farms had canceled a previous visit to Auburn scheduled for earlier this month, stating that “I’m not visiting Auburn. I am firmly committed to the University of North Carolina.” He also said he would not be taking any more visits as recently as a couple of weeks ago.
There's no telling how this will shake out on signing day, considering that Farms had already reneged on an earlier commitment to South Carolina before committing to the Tar Heels.
